Keel with Claude

Set up Keel in Claude, no commands needed

Keel is a calm food diary. Add it to Claude once, sign in, then paste one message. Claude checks what you have set up and asks a few simple questions, one at a time.

  1. Add Keel to Claude

On claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Name it Keel and paste this address.

    https://api.keelhome.app/mcp

On a phone, add it once on claude.ai in your browser. It then shows up in the Claude app too. If you use Claude through work, your admin may need to add it.

  2. Sign in

Choose Connect next to Keel and sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook. Keel then shows what Claude will be able to do in your diary. Choose Approve.

  3. Paste one message

Start a new chat, check Keel is switched on in the chat's tools menu, then paste this and send it.

Set me up with Keel. Use the Keel connector: start with get_started, then take me through anything missing one question at a time.

Say "skip" to anything you don't want. You can ask for the rest later.

Using Claude Code?

Run this, then type /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.

claude mcp add --transport http keel https://api.keelhome.app/mcp

You stay in control

Claude sees only what you ask it about, and acts only for you. To disconnect it, remove Keel in Claude's Settings, then Connectors, or in the Keel iPhone app under You, then Integrations, where you can also limit what it may do in each area. Apple Health is connected in the Keel iPhone app, never through Claude.
